Helen Lange is Dean, Business Management Programmes and Director, U21 Liaison at U21Global. Dr Lange's career spans professional roles in the banking and finance industry, as well as academic positions in banking and finance, and management. Prior to U21Global, Dr Lange was Associate Professor with Australia's Macquarie Graduate School of Management, where she was Director of MGSM Consulting, a business consulting group within the School, responsible for establishing a new business unit to provide consulting services to corporations and governments. Her most recent project was a large UNDP-funded project for the Malaysian Government. Before joining MGSM, Dr Lange was a member of faculty at the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr Lange's areas of expertise are financial management, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, financial risk management and bank management.

Dr Lange has extensive industry experience, with over 15 years in finance, banking, merchant banking and life insurance. Her consulting activities cover many aspects of finance and centre on investment banking and compliance and governance issues. The second edition of her book, Financial Institutions Management, has recently been published (McGraw Hill) and is used extensively in Australian universities' bank management programmes. She has recent publications in the areas of corporate finance, securitisation, corporate governance, takeovers, institutional investment, ownership concentration and small business financing. Dr Lange is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, a founding board member of the Turnaround Management Association in Australia, and a member of a number of international finance and economics associations. She has a PhD from Macquarie University.
